In late August and September, we said farewell to two incredible physicians who retired from practice: Gordon Barth, DO, at Yorktown Medical Clinic, and Mark Heard, MD, at Goliad Family Practice. “Dr. Barth has been a key to our success at Yorktown Medical Clinic and has been an asset to the patients he has served over the years,” says Denise McMahan, RN-MSN, Assistant Administrator. “Having Dr. Barth’s level of experience on staff at the clinic has been incredible, and he will be greatly missed. We welcome Dale Denton, DO, to the practice and are excited to see the legacy of patient-centered care continued in Yorktown.” As for Dr. Heard, he “has been a fixture in our community for 30 years, serving patients at Cuero Medical Clinic and Goliad Family Practice,” says McMahan. “Dr. Heard is highly respected by both our staff and patients, and his level of experience on staff at Goliad Family Practice has been such an asset. The onboarding of Kevin Denton, DO, as well as Laura Brown, RN, FNP-C, will help to ensure excellent medical care to the patients we serve at Goliad Family Practice.” 2020 Runway for a Cure DATE: Tuesday, Oct. 20, 7 to 8 p.m. VIRTUAL EVENT: Facebook Live on Cuero Regional Hospital’s Facebook page Cuero Regional Hospital is proud to present this first-ever VIRTUAL event in October.
