Esplanade St. Cuero, TX 77954 The 1970s are well-known for disco music and the birth of blockbuster movies like Jaws and Star Wars . But the decade also gave rise to something else on Sept. 8, 1970: the opening of Cuero Community Hospital, which would later become Cuero Regional Hospital (CRH). Long before then, civic leaders and physicians led an effort to build a new hospital for the community. Two older hospitals, Cuero Hospital Foundation and Burns Hospital, were consolidated, paving the way for Cuero Community Hospital. “There is a long legacy of health care in Cuero,” says Lynn Falcone, CEO of Cuero Health. Over the years, CRH has had several expansions, as well as added services and state-of-the-art medical technology. In 2016, the hospital became affiliated with Methodist Healthcare San Antonio, increasing access to resources that have benefited the community.
